
Since 1995, he has held executive positions at the Autonomous Province of Trento, managing housing and environmental policies, public transport, quality, ICT, and social and family policies. From 2011 to 2023, he established and directed the Provincial Agency for Social Cohesion, contributing to the development of the New Public Family Management model, based on certifications, territorial networks, quality standards, saturation economics, new professional profiles, and People Strategy. Since 2024, he has been working at the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK), where he focuses on applied research and the development of policies and projects regarding People Strategy, territorial attractiveness, and social innovation.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business, with a focus on corporate management, from the University of Trento, and earned an interdisciplinary Master’s degree in Environmental Design from Pomona University in California, U.S.A. A member of the Order of Journalists since 2004, he is the author of numerous publications on social policies, local development, and sustainability, and is a speaker at many national and international conferences.
He served as a member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the National Observatory on Family Policies during the 2009–2012 three-year period and, as of 2023, is once again a member following his appointment as an expert member. He is currently involved in launching territorial pilot projects on attractiveness and People Strategy, as well as developing educational processes and capacity-building pathways, in collaboration with universities and research centers, regarding change management issues related to the three transitions: demographic, digital, and ecological.
