PhD in Conservation of Architectural Heritage (Politecnico di Milano), he was an official at the ABAP Superintendency for the Municipality of Venice and the lagoon taking on various roles in the restoration of public buildings in Venice. Since 2021 he has been RTD B researcher at IUAV in Venice (ICAR 19 - Architectural Restoration) carrying out research and teaching activities. He has participated in national and international conferences and is the author of over one hundred scientific publications on historic buildings in Venice, cultural heritage and climate change.
