Costanza De Stefani, Senior Manager for the international program Reinventing Cities and Lead of global design competitions at C40 Cities, is focused on accelerating sustainable and resilient urban regeneration globally, leading innovative projects aimed at transforming cities. The C40 network, which includes nearly 100 of the world's leading cities, promotes climate action to address global challenges. In her role, Costanza supports over 50 cities in transforming underutilized areas and neighbourhoods into flagship projects of sustainability and inclusion, working with municipalities, public institutions, agencies, and asset owners on an international scale. She organizes international competitions involving thousands of private sector professionals, academics, hundreds of universities and schools, and thousands of young people from around the world, facilitating collaboration and the creation of urban solutions. A graduate with a Master’s in Environment and Sustainable Development from The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment at University College London, Costanza also holds a bachelor's in Environmental Engineering. In the past, she gained significant experience in marketing and communications and led field research projects in cities in China, Argentina, and West Africa.
