Carlo Masseroli, born in 1967, graduated in Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. In his professional career, he has gained a deep knowledge in the management of complex organizational structures involved in projects for the transformation and enhancement of large urban areas, through virtuous processes of public-private partnership. He has also developed technical and analytical skills aimed at managing relations with corporates and financial institutions, studying and monitoring projects, and communication plans.
In his thirty-year career, Carlo Masseroli has collaborated with some of the largest real estate companies in Italy, including Beni Stabili (of which he was also a member of the board of directors with responsibility for social housing projects), BNP Paribas and Investire SGR.
From April 2011 to May 2016, he was involved in the design, implementation and monitoring of territorial development strategies, including: the Territorial Governance Plan (PGT); large strategic urban regeneration projects, in close collaboration with private developers; the enhancement of public assets; the Social and Affordable housing and the Urban Center.
As General Manager of Milanosesto SpA, he was responsible for the development of the Ex Falck area in Sesto San Giovanni for the creation of new urban districts characterized by the presence of different integrated functions and the re-functionalization of industrial archaeology buildings on an area of 1.4 million square meters.
In 2020 he joined Arcadis Italia as City Executive to manage the Big Urban Cities program.
Since June 2022 he has held the position of Head of Strategy and Development at Nhood Services Italy, a real estate services and consulting company specializing in urban redevelopment, with the aim of consolidating the company's development projects in Italy, of which he is also appointed Chief Executive Officer, in 2023.
