Federico Menna has been CEO of 28DIGITAL (formerly EIT Digital) since March 2023. With a passion for innovation and digital tech, he began his career at Vodafone, working over seven years on mobile network development during 3G to 4G transition.  He joined 28DIGITAL in 2015, progressing through roles like Head of Staff, COO/CFO, and interim CEO in 2022. Federico holds a Master’s in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Trento, where he mentors students and entrepreneurs.  He is a Forbes Technology Council member and participates in European Commission expert groups. As CEO, he leads a strategic transformation to position 28DIGITAL as Europe’s premier platform for digital entrepreneurship, talent, and innovation, strengthening digital sovereignty and collaboration across the continent.
