Andrea Vecci is Head of Impact, Sustainability and Communication at Near Group, an impact‑oriented real estate investment platform. Since 2020, he has overseen the group’s sustainable investment strategies, ensuring alignment with the EU Taxonomy and the SFDR regulatory framework (Articles 8 and 9), with a focus on integrating ESG factors into investment decision‑making processes and stakeholder engagement.

He is responsible for impact reporting, B Corp and GRESB certifications, and the group’s strategic positioning on sustainable finance. With a background in ecology and socio‑economic systems, he has over twenty years of experience working on impact investing, social enterprises and urban regeneration programmes, contributing to the development of sustainable and scalable housing models.
